The American Eagle's Code of Conduct
1. Treat all opponents with courtesy and respect. ("Friendly Banter" is
appreciated, however,
who''s ancestor swung through the trees is irrelevant and usually
counter productive).
2 Refrain from using profanity or derogatory speech in game related
functions.
3. Abide by all agreed game rules without exception.
4. Agree that the game host has final word concerning any game.
5. Refrain from claiming victory. (Everyone knows who won, wait to be
congratulated).
6. Team game rules will be pre-established. When entering an unknown
"Open" game on the
internet a AE member will announce his presence (whenever possible) and
inquire about
game rules in effect.
7. No member will remain in a game after being asked to leave by the
game host.
8. Refrain from using any deceptive tactic ie. Telling an opponent he is
hit when he is not.
9. Bail out immediately upon any notification of being hit. (You know
which of your team
members have chat) If a mute teammate is reported hit confirm it for him
without being asked.
10. If a new player enters a AE hosted game and makes no contact, An
American Eagle player
will Announce (if possible) any game rules in effect.
11. Refrain from using "game cheats" or software modifications in "Open"
games without the
permission of the game host.
12. Refrain from using such tactics as: Using the Eject feature to deny
an opponent a score.
13. Refrain from advertising the faults and shortcomings of others. Even
with provocation. Even
if others do not subscribe to this philosophy. (Lead by Example).
14. Report to the "Forum" all discovered game bugs.
15. Agree to abide by any Amended "Codes of Conduct" adopted in future.
1a. When an American Eagle Member enters an "Open" game. After learning
the game rules he
will always join on the side of the underdogs. Or against Any organized
team in the majority. If
American Eagles Members as required will "Turn Traitor" on a volunteer
basis and join the underdogs.
